This was the first book I read by Colleen, and boy did it not disappoint. It follows the story of Lily, a young woman who falls in love with a man named Ryle, who is charming and successful but also has a dark side.

Final Thoughts

Thanks to BookTok, I noticed that not everyone likes the work of Colleen Hoover, and that’s ok. We as humans aren’t supposed to like everything or enjoy the same things. I personally like her books and captivating stories.

I also like to read Colleen Hoover’s books in between dark fiction reads to take a break from the intense plot lines.

AD

Furthermore, I also read her books as part of a 2-person book club between my best friend and me. We like to exchange them and text each other about the stories and gossip about the characters.

I’d like to note that these books are also perfect for people learning English, as the stories are written in a simplistic style that can be easily followed.

I highly recommend checking at least one of Colleen’s books.

Thanks for reading!
