October 1, 2026
What is FastMoss

FastMoss is a TikTok Shop analytics platform. It estimates sales for 620M+ products and 380M+ creators, plus shops, videos, LIVEs and ads, across 20+ countries and regions. In plain terms: it shows you what’s selling on TikTok, who’s selling it, and how they’re doing it.

If you’ve ever scrolled TikTok and wondered “is that product actually selling, or does it just look viral?”, FastMoss is built to answer exactly that. FastMoss says more than 4.7 million sellers, creators and brands use it.

This page explains how it works in simple words and links to every FastMoss guide on Web-Hobbies, so you can go deeper wherever you need to.

How FastMoss works

TikTok Shop doesn’t publish other sellers’ sales numbers. You can see your own shop’s results in Seller Center, but not your competitor’s. FastMoss fills that gap.

It tracks public signals across TikTok Shop, things like product listings, sold counts, videos, LIVE streams and ads, and turns them into estimates of units sold and GMV (gross merchandise value) over time. Because it’s been doing this for a while, it can show you not just today’s numbers but how a product, shop or creator has moved over months.

That gives you three things the TikTok app alone can’t:

  1. Rankings. What sells most today, this week or this month, by country and category.
  2. History. How a product, shop or creator performed over weeks and months, so you can tell a trend from a spike.
  3. Connections. Which creators, videos and ads are actually driving each product’s sales.

One honest caveat: the numbers are estimates, not anyone’s bank statement. They’re excellent for comparing options and spotting trends. They’re not for accounting.

FastMoss terms in plain English

You’ll see these words everywhere in the dashboard. Here’s what they mean.

GMV is gross merchandise value, the total sales value of a product, shop or creator before refunds and fees.

Units sold (7d) is how many items sold in the last 7 days. It’s the quickest way to compare products.

Order growth rate is how much orders grew compared with the period before. Positive and steady is what you want to see.

Commission rate is what the seller pays affiliates per sale. Creators use it to decide what to promote.

GPM is GMV per thousand views, used for LIVEs and videos. It tells you how well attention turns into sales.

ROAS is return on ad spend. A ROAS of 3.2x means roughly $3.20 in sales for every $1 spent on the ad.

Affiliates is the number of creators promoting a product or shop. A high number usually means the product sells for ordinary creators, not just for one big account.

What you can do with FastMoss

Find products before they peak. Filter by order growth inside a category and check the sales curve. The full method is in how to find winning products with FastMoss.

Spot growing niches. Market Pulse shows which categories are heating up in your country.

Watch competitors. See what rival shops sell, at what price, and through which creators.

Pick creators who sell. Rank creators by real sales and get contact info for outreach.

Study winning content. Find the top videos and ads behind a product and learn their hooks.

Monitor in real time. Track streams and videos as they happen.

Make content faster. Transcribe a winning video, rewrite the script, and read what buyers say in reviews.

Ask AI instead of clicking. Pull FastMoss data into Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor. See FastMoss API and MCP.

A typical FastMoss workflow in 4 steps

If you only remember one thing from this page, make it this simple loop:

  1. Find a growing category in Market Pulse for your country.
  2. Pick products inside it with rising orders, a price you can work with and good commission.
  3. Check who’s selling them: which creators, which videos, which shops.
  4. Make your move: source the product, pitch the creators, or film your own version of the winning content.

Then repeat every week. That’s really all FastMoss is for: making each of those four steps faster and less of a guess.

How FastMoss has grown

FastMoss started as a TikTok Shop data tool and has added layers over time. In 2024 it introduced Team, Pro and Basic subscriptions with sub-accounts, rebuilt its creator and product detail pages with improved data accuracy, and added Top LIVE Products and Top LIVE Creators rankings. More recently it added AI tools for video scripts and review analysis, and a Developer Center with an MCP, CLI and API so you can reach the same data from AI assistants and your own code.

What FastMoss can’t do

It’s worth knowing the limits before you sign up.

It doesn’t show exact revenue. All sales figures are estimates built from public signals. They’re very useful for comparison, but they aren’t anyone’s actual books.

It doesn’t sell for you. FastMoss tells you what’s working. You still need to source well, make good content or find the right creators.

It doesn’t replace TikTok Seller Center. For your own shop’s real orders and payouts, Seller Center is the source of truth. FastMoss is for everything outside your own shop.

It isn’t for every market. It covers 20+ countries and regions, which is most of where TikTok Shop runs, but check that yours is included before you buy.
